Jeff Sherman
Varsity Head Coach

Jeff Sherman took over as head baseball coach at Flower Mound Marcus High School in 2013 at the age of 30. He is currently serving as Head Coach for the 13th season.

 
Over the last 13 years, Coach Sherman was named District 6-6A Coach of the Year three times and he has lead Marcus to 5 District Titles.  Each year Marcus Baseball has been ranked at the National & State Level. For the last three years, Coach Sherman served on the USA National Team Coaching Staff - U15. In September 2022,  the USA National team won the gold medal in the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup against Cuba in Hermosillo, Mexico. In 2015, Perfect Game named him All-American Head Coach West Team in San Diego. Coach Sherman has been featured on numerous National Podcasts and has his own channel on Stick & Ball TV.

Prior stops before Marcus High School included Frisco Centennial High School, where Sherman served as the hitting and infielders coach.  

 
Coach Sherman is a native of Flower Mound and a 1999 graduate of Marcus. He attended Paris Junior College where he earned All-Conference honors. After Paris, he played two years at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, where he was named All-American in 2002 and 2003. Sherman earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Missouri Baptist in 2003.
 
Coach Sherman teaches Physical Education at Marcus. He lives in Flower Mound, with his wife Sarah, their daughter Harper, son Brody, and son Walker. Coach Sherman is an active member at Valley Creek Church. His passions are his faith in Jesus Christ, family and coaching baseball!
